Ausley McMullen, a full-service firm based in Tallahassee, is pleased to announce that it was chosen for the Best Companies to Work For In Florida list published each year by Florida Trend magazine. The firm, which was an honoree four times before, has been ranked eleventh in the mid-size company category, which named a total of 45 companies. The firm was one of only eight law firms named from the state in all of the three sized categories.
The list, featured in the August issue of Florida Trend magazine, ranks companies in small, mid-sized, and large employer categories. To participate, companies or government entities are required to have at least 15 workers in Florida and be in operation for at least one year. Companies that choose to participate undergo an evaluation of their workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The process also includes a survey to measure employee satisfaction. The combined scores determine the top companies and the final ranking.
Florida Trend Executive Editor Amy Keller offers that, “Best companies invest in people and find creative ways to motivate and reward employees and help them grow. They’re also purposeful about creating a great culture. These employers find ways to encourage connection and camaraderie — and they also prioritize giving back to their communities, understanding that it can have a profound impact on morale.”
“Dynamic thinkers, creative and inspiring in their actions, and enterprising in their industries – these companies recruit, retain and deliver distinctive workplace environments and employee benefits plans to keep their staff engaged, involved and constantly collaborating” says Florida Trend Publisher David Denor.
"We are honored to be recognized once again as a great workplace in Florida," said Michael Glazer, President of Ausley McMullen. "We are grateful to our amazing team for embracing and supporting our culture and one another. As we look towards 100 years representing businesses and individuals throughout the state, we know we wouldn’t be on this list without our attorneys and staff.”
